I'm trying to color my hair blond and red. Could I do double process @ the same time.?

I dont want to burn my hair off. I just want to know If I so happen to color twice the same area can it damage imy hair. I would have to do red. Wash it. Dry it and do the blond Is that too much?

I'm trying to color my hair blond and red. Could I do double process @ the same time.?

you can dye both at the same time if your foiling but if you can't do that then get someone else to do, red and blonde make pink....

I'm trying to color my hair blond and red. Could I do double process @ the same time.?

Yea, that is too much. Try doing about 3 inches of your hair red and another 3 inches or so blonde and compare the two. Then, depending on which one you like, dye it that color right away. I do it all the time and that way your whole head isn't damaged.

Why don't you go to a hairdresser and have your hair dyed red with blonde streaks or vice versa. You can have both colors at the same time that way...

i would recommend doing them separately. the end results will look MUCH nicer. i know from experience. a double process is ok - ive done it at the salon. just make sure to keep your hair conditioned really well when you wash it, cuz dying can dry your hair out. good luck with the results!

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

ok i have natuarl black hair then i dyed it red should i use some blonde dye and dye it over? will it turn blonde? does it damage my hair alot?

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

I would go to a colorist because they can do it right. Turning black hair blond is tricky and you can fry your hair even if done right. You may want to consider wigs...some are quite good and you can change color (or test to see if a certain color/shade looks good on you) whenever you want.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

No dont do that - go back to your natural color. If you keep on dyeing different colors it will dry out your hair and it will start feeling and looking like straw.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

no because it will turn orange because my sisters did

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

you should dye your hair blonde %26amp; red. but i think dying your hair damages it a little bit anyways.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

it will wreck yer hair, try brown first cuz if you put blonde over dyed red its guna go pink/orange

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

Depending on how long the red has been on it some times especially if you do not use the same make of hair dye the colour can change to pink or slightly orange.

It is always better to get a dye remover, remove the dye then re dye two days to a week later. You do have to keep an eye on the dye removal products though because some times they will remove your natural colour %26amp; you will end up with blonde hair depending on how strong the product is.

And yes dying your hair a lot will damage it.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

sex

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

u cant go from red to blonde..

u have to get colour stripper from a pharmacy

then peroxide

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

Child, you are lost, lost in the forest of how one treats her hair. No, blonde dye will not dye over red, you'll have disgusting not red but too red to be blonde hair. Any time you bleach your hair it damages it.

Please, please go to a salon, even the one in Wal-Mart. At least do a consultation even if you don't have them color your hair.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

Try using a Semi-Permanent color closest to your natural color.

This will help restore your shine and health of your hair.

Should i dye me hair blonde over red?

The first time you dyed your hair, you damaged it. So yes it is extremely damaging for your hair! No I don't believe it will instantly turn blonde. You need to strip out the color first.

Itchy red scalp thinning hair without even scratching ?

hey guys my scalp has became a mess it is constantly greasy no matter how much i wash it and some places it is thinning.

at the places it is thinning there is sometimes an itch (which i never scratch no matter what) and if i look closely it red looking (not a bump or lump, just flat and red and no scaling) and the hairs all look thinner in that area

im currently using a tea trea shampoo and nizoral what can be causing it and will it eventually thicken as its been over a year in some of the patches

thansk for any help

Itchy red scalp thinning hair without even scratching ?

It sounds like eczema but without actually seeing it I can only guess. It's most likely that the oiliness is more responsible for the thinning that the red patches, although, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, etc., will cause a bit of hair loss even if you don't scratch. It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to see a dermatologist. It's not the kind of thing that's going to go away on its own. Use a shampoo and conditioner for oily hair and don't wash your hair in hot water. The cooler the better for oily scalp.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

My skin color is a natural tan and my natural hair color was a really dark brown. I decided to go black on the hair (not emo/goth black) and I dyed it yesterday. I noticed in the sunlight it has a strong tint of red to it. It is actually really pretty, but my question is, is that normal? I really don't mind it at all.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

probably your hair color you dyed didnt fade inrigh.. but its okay... next time leave it in longer...

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

It was a blessing.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

it could be your natural colour shining through

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

Why would it matter.. as long as it looks good i would care less

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

Maybe the hairstylist who did your hair added a little red to the black?

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

That's perfectly normal. Just how skin can have a golden, pink, or yellow undertone. Hair also has brown, red, or golden undertones. My hair is dark black, but in the sun it's usually a darker shade of brown.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

Yeah, it's normal. It means that you just have a lot of red pigment in your hair. You have reddish tones rather than violet or blue tones.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

Depending on the color you used, and the natural pigments in your hair you'll get different results with each color.

It sounds to me like you already had some sort red in your hair, and the dye only darkened it. since red and brown are so much the same color, it makes sense.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

probably what he said ^...

its hard for black to be real noticable in brown...

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

If you have well water that could be it.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

UMM.. YEAH.. IF YOU MESSED IT UP ALOT!! LIKE ONE DAY MY MOM DYED HER HAIR BLONDE AND IT WAS TURNING RED AND GREEN!!

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

ok..most hair dyes have a base color to it. the one you used probably had either a red base or a violet base which looks red in the sun.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

If you have any irish in your bloodlines, the red tint was there before, but just not visible because of the color or mix of colors in brown. If not, the red will fade out of in in two or three days.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

absolutly normal. i was born a red head, the of corse over time my hair changed to blonde then brunett. and i also have a red tint to my hair. i also dyed my hair black. of corse not emo or goth either. and i have a red tint still. what ever color you dye your hair its always going to be there. i just suggest dont bleach your hair.1st it takes longer for it to actually go blonde 2nd it may end up being kinda orange .. its happend to me..

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

The dye must have a red base.

All colors (even black) have to come from a mix of other colors, starting with the primary colors (red, blue, yellow)

and it seems they opted for a red base on this one.

It's normal, especially in do-it-yourself kits.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

You hair color is the result of fairly complex molecules generated from transcription from you genome. Every one is slightly different and each interacts differently with hair dyes. Hair care companies go to great trouble to make their products as consistent as possible but certain individuals will never get the color on the box. If you are one of these you will find most hair dyes look different on you.

You can try a little of some recently cut har to make certain you like it first. You lucked out this time but in the future a little test might be good. Save you hair at haircut time.

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

this is normal usaully black dye depending on the color # will have a red or violet tent to it also it ur brown hair shining throw the dye

Why doe's my hair have a red tint to it?

It's the sun it happens to my sister all the time perfectly normal!

Should i die my hair this color red?

Should i die my hair this color red?

Should i die my hair this color red?

Yes i think that would be really pretty! but i dont know what you look like, so I suppose you would be the only one to tell what it would look like. I really like the color though, its a really pretty shade of red.

Should i die my hair this color red?

yeah i think it would look really good on u

Should i die my hair this color red?

no

Should i die my hair this color red?

i think it sounds good but you should wait til the end of the summer cause the color get bad fast in summer .... but like for fall i think you should do it !

Should i die my hair this color red?

i think u shuld gofor a medium/dark brown w/ auburn undertones cuz it will bring out ur eyes

Should i die my hair this color red?

That looks like a burgundy red, or auburn. Yes it should look good. If it's at home color then buy a brighter shade. I have used the new herbal essences burgundy and it lasted forever. I think it was called plush plum. Looks purple on the box, but it isn't. That or radiant ruby. That red is gorgeous!Use the conditioner that comes with it at least once a week and it helps with holding the color in your hair.

Should i die my hair this color red?

Yeah, I think you should go for it! I bet it'll look pretty good, and I know it will be striking against your pale skin. And the fact that you have blue eyes will mean that they'll be more noticeable.

Should i die my hair this color red?

no....I have naturally dark blond hair and did almost the exact same color for Christmas of 06. It looked awesome, but it faded fast. It requires a lot of touch ups. And later I tried to get my hair back to it's natural color no salon would touch it. They told me it would turn kind of orange. I ended up having to color my hair dark brown to cover it up.

Should i die my hair this color red?

maybe...you should dye your hair a auburn color or maybe an auburn brown...well a reddish-brownish...you should see for yourself...

hope this helps

alana:)

Should i die my hair this color red?

darkred looks good on any color it would be different try it if you don't like it color it back to natural

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

I would really like my hair to be a golden brown. But it seems that people who use "gold" shades end up with red tones instead of gold? Why is this, and can it be avoided/corrected? How do you achieve a true gold haircolor - blonde or brown?

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

All i know is that the red pigment in hair dyes or your natural hair will show through and react. It's best to go dark first. Sorry not much help

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

... i have that naturally

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

... at least what i think your talking about ... a whole bunch of pple on this question said my hair was red and some said golden ... i got brunette and blonde too :S so confused

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

HAPPEND TO ME! HAHA

well it is because the person that did this has alot of red pigment color in there hair. it is usually someone that has brown hair. i have no idea how to achieve a gold look

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

well do what ever you were going to do, then buy a spray bottle and lemon juice and it will give you a gold-sunkissed tone.

Why do "golden" hair colors look red instead?

If you go to the proffesionals, it is expensive, but SO WORTH IT! They know what you're hair will look like with a certain color in it- Hair dyes are not "One color fits all".

Here's what you need to do:

Go to a professional and when they are done and you are happy with your color, ask them what brand and exact color they used- then buy it yourelf to keep it up.

Best wishes!
