i'm drawing a picture of a girl with red hair. could i use a black pen to outline her hair like i'm doing with her face ect or should i use a red pen or just no outline. i have already drawn the outline of her hair by the way. thank you.

It depends on the style of the drawing. If you're drawing her realistically, then I wouldn't use black to outline - it would be too sharp of a contrast; you could mix it in with red for the shadowed areas, however.
Otherwise, go for it. It all depends on how you, the artist, envision the final piece to be.
