I have naturally medium brown hair, hazel/green eyes and skin that tans easily.

I am considering using 'light auburn' by L'oreal preference.

Will this work?

It sounds like it would be okay. Just remember the color on the box is done after the model's hair has been bleached to a white. Then the auburn is applied. So the color on the box will probably be lighter than your results
