the best colour to use is the live permanent colours in there red range, go for ruby red, it looks stunning and isnt a yuk red.

Maybe you should try highlighting with red tones such as a mahogany shade. That way, if you don't like it, it won't be so drastic.

Red?You shouldnt dye them all completely red.But yes maybe u could die them dark brown and red shades.Try Garnier or l'oreal.

You should seek a professional. Initial application on virgin hair is not the same as doing a re-growth. You will not be able to get it even if you don't know what you're doing.

You can also see the colour swatches up against your skin tone first.

As for professional products, I prefer Goldwell reds.
