How to dye red hair blonde? without the red showing through..?

that would be so hard to maintain! it'd be obvious that it's dyed as soon as you roots start growing. and not to mention costly! And besides, do you know how many people dye their hair to become redheads? just don't do it...

i would not dye your red hair blonde, i would put blonde highlights in it. it is very hard to do that and you would damage your hair more than anything. I only say this because i have red hair and no stylist would fully dye it blonde: it wouldnt go with red heads skin tone either. Report It

sure it would...ya know 'Donna' from that 70s show? she's naturally a red head and went blonde. she looks great! as long as the blonde is a warm hue, and not cool, it'll be fine! not all readheads are pasty and freckly Report It

Go to the best hairdresser and make sure of each month to get a fill in of the blonde color in the roots.

the red cannot possibly show through, because you would be taking the red pigment out of the hair when lightening to blonde. When doing blonde, it is not like doing a darker colour, that deposits on top of the colour that is already there, lightening hair takes the pigment out. It is quite possible that your hair would pull a lot of red pigment, and thus it would be a very warm, golden blonde, and if not done properly, very possibly orange. Go to a salon, and have it done by a professional.
